This Acceptable Use Policy explains what is and is not allowed when using JobLinker (“JobLinker”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) and its website, application, and related services available through joblinkerapp.com and related pages (the “Service”).

By using the Service, you agree to follow this Acceptable Use Policy together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1. Purpose of the Service

JobLinker is intended to help employers, recruiters, agencies, and other users publish vacancies, collect applications, review candidates, and manage hiring workflows in a lawful and professional way.

2. You must not use the Service to

  • post fake, deceptive, misleading, or fraudulent vacancies;
  • promote scams, pyramid schemes, fake interviews, fake offers, or unlawful work arrangements;
  • upload malware, harmful files, corrupted files, or content intended to damage software, systems, or data;
  • submit or distribute viruses, trojans, spyware, ransomware, scripts, or any other malicious code;
  • harass, abuse, threaten, exploit, or discriminate against candidates, users, or third parties;
  • publish content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, hateful, violent, or otherwise abusive;
  • violate employment, labor, privacy, anti-discrimination, consumer protection, or other applicable laws;
  • collect candidate data for unrelated purposes outside legitimate hiring or recruitment activity;
  • attempt unauthorized access to accounts, files, databases, infrastructure, or data;
  • interfere with the operation, performance, or security of the Service;
  • use automation, scraping, bots, or abusive traffic in a way that harms the Service or other users;
  • impersonate another person, business, or organization;
  • infringe intellectual property, confidentiality, or privacy rights of others.

3. Hiring-related restrictions

When using the Service for hiring or recruitment, you must not:

  • publish knowingly false or deceptive job descriptions;
  • request unlawful or unnecessary candidate information;
  • use candidate data for spam, unrelated marketing, resale, or unlawful profiling;
  • use the Service in a discriminatory or unlawful hiring process;
  • upload resumes, candidate information, or notes unless you have a valid reason to process them.

4. File uploads

Users must not upload unsafe, malicious, infringing, or unlawful files. Resume uploads and other uploaded files must be used only for legitimate recruitment activity and only through the intended functionality of the Service.

5. Security and abuse prevention

We may monitor, limit, suspend, block, or remove activity that we reasonably believe creates security risk, legal risk, abuse, harmful behavior, or operational instability.

6. Enforcement

If we believe you have violated this Acceptable Use Policy, we may take action without prior notice, including:

  • removing content;
  • disabling access to specific features;
  • suspending or terminating accounts;
  • removing vacancies or application data associated with misuse;
  • taking other steps reasonably necessary to protect the Service, our users, or third parties.

7. Your responsibility

You are solely responsible for your content, vacancies, files, candidate handling, communications, and actions in the Service. If you do not agree with these rules, do not use the Service.

8. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page with the updated effective date.
